Evolution Hair Design is located in SW Portland and was in need of a web design refresh for their 25th anniversary. Evolution Hair Design's values have always been to grow, change, and evolve. The interior of the salon is very modern with beautiful metal stations created from old shipyard material for the designers. The goal of the website was to showcase their brand style which is a combination of minimalist and Memphis styled design. Another goal was to bring personality back to the Evolution's digital presence.
The entire website is hand-coded using Zurb Foundation as the backbones. The website features sleek subtle parallax elements and a strong modular structure to play towards their minimalist aesthetic. Each designer has a profile page as a way to bring in the personality of the team not only in their bios, but also in their photo which is purely personality driven.
